Best new build complex in London for remote workers?

Hi Henry’s,

Me and my gf (mid 20-late 20s) are both remote workers in tech, we have an office in central but are not required to go in, and we both switched to this recently. We are currently renting in Elephant Park as :it does check most of the boxes we had

  1. Easy office commute (no longer required)
  2. M&S nearby
  3. Easy commute to central (we like exploring restaurants)
  4. relatively easy commute to LHR/Gatwick

However now that #1 is off the table I’m rethinking if living so central is worth the £££ , we currently spend 3k including bills on a 1 bedroom (Built to rent complex)

Downsides are:

  1. only 1 bedroom, an office room would be nice as we both work remote
  2. no luxury gym nearby ( I’m currently a member at Third space near my office, and it’s my only hobby)

Are there any other areas that would allow to tick more boxes?

Leveraging in this market?

Hi folks

I’m in quite an interesting spot atm. employed full time as a SWE at a big tech company as a L4

Got an offer from a trading company for 2x salary that might progress to 3x, however it’s terrible wlb (almost 2.5x the hours). So i will not be taking it. (Jobs are very boring)

I got feedback L5 from another big tech that’s close to 1.8x with good wlb and interesting team, however they told me they are waiting for 1 more candidate to finish the loop next week. And asked me if there’s any urgency on my end.

  1. Should I use my offer to pressure them? Would it backfire horrible?

  2. if I were to get both offers is it stupid to negotiate? I would be happy with the offer from company B, but I feel like my fear is holding me back from earning extra $ with a few emails

  3. I could also use company B to get a better offer from A and then come back to B again with a giant diff

I have been lucky enough to get an Anthropic interview for mid level internal tooling role, I also been unlucky enough to get this right before my 3 week Asia vacation.

Regardless I think it would be stupid not to prep for a chance of a lifetime.

I had my initial recruiter screening and skipped the OA based on the initial interaction, I was also told I’m the first person interviewing for the role hence I can take my time.

I cannot find many interview experience online and they seem to be semi inconsistent ? I also been told I have to code in Python during the interview with no other information besides “technical round”.

Would love some experienced people had and the type of interviews
