What happens to your I-140 (EB1/2 NIW) if I-485 AOS is denied?

Folks:

What happens to your approved Employment Based (EB1/2 NIW) I-140 if your AOS I-485 is denied due to negative factor or something like that?

A hypothetical question but could not so hypothetical soon with how things are going.

My I -485 was Denied without any interview or intent to deny or anything like that. I haven’t received the letter yet nor have they upload it on my documents on the website. I’m trying not to panic or overthink but I’m exhausted
