What link building strategy is actually working for you in 2026?
If you had to pick ONE strategy giving the best ROI right now, what would it be?

I’ve been testing a few practice management tools lately for a small bookkeeping/accounting firm and keep going back and forth between Karbon, Canopy, Cone, and TaxDome.
Each one seems strong in a different area. Karbon felt great for workflows and internal task management, Canopy seemed more tax-focused, Cone looked surprisingly strong for the price, and TaxDome feels powerful but a bit overwhelming to set up.
Curious what other small firms actually ended up sticking with long term and what mattered most in the decision. Pricing, automations, proposals, billing, client portal, ease of use, etc.
I’ve been looking into different tools for managing accounting clients, tasks, workflows, reminders, all that stuff and honestly there are way too many options now.
I keep seeing names like TaxDome, Karbon, Jetpack Workflow, Canopy, etc. but it’s hard to tell what people actually stick with long term vs what just looks good in demos.
mostly curious what accountants here are actually using day to day and what made you choose it. especially interested in anything that helped organize client communication and recurring work without becoming a huge headache to manage.
