I really loved reading this! Loved the articulation that gender-sexual identity is something that another helps you uncover within yourself rather than something you can excavate on your own, loved thinking about how the proliferation of online gay challenges this dynamic, loved the distinction between butch as a gender identity vs and erotic one. And the writing is gorgeous. Haven’t felt this excited about an essay in the ‘queer’ space (god it feels so reductive to categorize it that way) in a while.

I recently purchased a KH-900 electronic knitting machine. I had success getting the patterning to work a few times this weekend but now when I go to turn it on it just flashes briefly but doesn't stay on. Any idea why this might be? Can it be reset? I see you can replace capacitors on other models but I'm not seeing it for the KH-900
