How much to spend on website?

I got a few different quotes to build a website. One for $1200, $3000 and another for $10k. What should I be looking for in a website to justify those prices?

Is this a seasonal business?

Wanting to start this business but I’m wondering the seasonality of it. Is there a drop off of clientele in the winter months? When people sign on do they stay with you for multiple years or is this a come and go type service?

Text vs Email

How does everyone like to communicate with customers here. Things such as asking for Google reviews, referrals, service updates etc. I’ve always communicated primarily through email but texting seems to be more effective and easier.

What happens if you miss a day?

I own a landscaping business currently so I’m familiar with keeping up weekly routes. However, we only cut lawns 3 days per week and the rest of the week it’s side jobs (shrubs, mulch etc) So if it rains or somebody calls out/needs off, it’s not a big deal, we can just reschedule some jobs for the following week and still always finish the weekly cuts. With this business though I’m not sure how you make work up. If you’re scheduling waste removal 5 days per week M-F, then what free time is there to make the day up?

Poop Scooping Business

Going through the process of starting a poop scooping business. I’m aiming to start in another month or two. I still haven’t figured out one thing though. What do I do with the poop? I’m going back and forth between bagging it and leaving it in customers trash cans vs taking it and dumping it. It would be easier to bag it and leave it in the trash cans but I’m afraid customers won’t like that as much. I could take it but I’d rather not deal with disposal. Anyone on here own a poop scooping business? How do you handle getting rid of it?
