no hateful comments or negatively or bashing please.. i’m asking because I’m 38 and my teeth have been bad my entire life from medicine I had when I was a baby. Even though I take care of them it doesn’t stop cavities from coming back eventually after getting them filled and honestly, I don’t have money to fix my teeth so I’m just thinking about getting them ripped out and getting dentures so I feel comfortable smiling again. I can tell people look at my teeth when I show my real smile. I think I hide it pretty well most of the time but I’m so self-conscious about it because I have nice teeth. I just can’t stop the cavities from coming back because apparently I was on some kind of antibiotic when I was a baby for almost a year and it just totally made any tooth that grew after that sensitive to everything. Seriously I lived in the Dentist from being in there so much as a child and it just did the same thing to my adult teeth, which my doctor had apparently warned my mom when she gave me the medicine so it was known. I obviously and I’m not gonna go around telling people and I’m not going to walk around without them in, but I want to know what y’all’s opinions are on what you would do if you found out that you’re 38-year-old girlfriend wears dentures? I used to have a nice smile and I smiled with my teeth and all my pictures when I was growing up but now that I’m older, I don’t have anybody like family or even dental insurance to keep up with everything and it’s so expensive that I know that they’re just gonna keep getting worse cause I’ll never be able to fix them at this point.
