Recurrence of Collapsed Lung (possibly minor) 5 months after VATS

I had what I thought was a small recurrence of a Primary Spontaneous Pneumothorax back in April, where, after a sharp pain in my back between the shoulder blades, it was followed chest bubbling when I lay on my left. There was no shortness of breath, and eventually after 2 weeks it went away.

However, today I have again had that sharp stabbing pain, a little bit worse this time I think. And I’m scared to lay down on my left in case I bubble again.

What is the chances that this is a possible bleb rupture and would this heal on its own again?

Has anybody ever experienced similar to this?

EDIT 1: I eventually muster up the courage to lay down on my left, my right, and flat on my back. No bubbling, just the consistent back pain that has lingered on much longer this time than the instance in April.

EDIT 2: I notice bubbling in that familiar sternum region when I bounce up and down on my tiptoes/ jump up and down lightly.

I have extremely unmissable commitments for these next 2 weeks and a trip on a plane at the end of June, I seriously cannot afford to miss these.

No bubbling, just the consistent back pain that has lingered on much longer this time than the instance in April. Leading me to think perhaps this is a muscular strain in my back? Perhaps or maybe not. Still if anyone has anything similar to this please let me know.

Rescheduling

Hi, I received my invite to book my test recently. I have since realised that my test date isn’t suitable for me anymore and there’s nothing I can do to prevent this. My test is more than 10 days away so I am able to reschedule.

I would like to reschedule my test, but I do not want it to be for a similar date. Can somebody who maybe had to reschedule their own test before help me with a bit of info? It would be more suitable if I could reschedule for late July. Does it work in the sense that I can reschedule without being thrown to the back of the queue again?

Would it be better to ‘Cancel’ the test? But I fear I’ll be put to the back of the queue again and will have to wait for up to 4 months again? If I was to ‘Cancel’ is it a case of the RSA sending me another invite to book in maybe a months time? or thereabouts.

I appreciate Any and all help, thanks!
