Went on my first hinge date… catastrophic
So we start the evening by going to a cafe and playing some chess (her idea)
We ended up leaving the cafe, as they were closing early and we decided to finish the game at my place
After we finished, she said she wanted to go for a walk and check out the party avenue by the university.
We got there after 30mins of walking and chit chatting. During our chat she mentioned she’s in AA and a recovering alcoholic; already in my mind I’m thinking ok…. Let’s see how the night goes
So we get to party central, and she says let’s go to this club and enjoy the ambiance, I said aight let’s go
We pretty much spend 1 hour jumping from club to club and checking out the vibe.
Then she runs into some friends she knows, and we all end up going to this after hours restaurant for a bite
After that’s all said and done, she says to me “I think I’m gonna go home with that dude, they’re drinking at his place after” (random guy that was with her friend group)
After all that, I’m thinking wtf? So I say aight I’m heading home, best of luck.
Then her friends come up to me and say “yeah she’s not going with us, can you take her home?”
So I call us a Uber and take her home, we spend a few minutes chatting outside her building and she says “tonight I was fun but I think I’m gonna go back to my ex, but you’ll definitely hear back from me!”
