Would MTA subway staff return a phone I handed in?

I found an iPhone a couple of weeks ago and handed it to the staff, it was American natural history museum stop. Then I saw the news of the staff taking bribes and letting people in for cheaper and thought ouch, what if I handed it to someone not so nice?

I’ve been thinking about it since then! The lady that I handed it to looked so surprised but I was in a rush and didn’t think about just keeping it and wait for a call from the owner, I was also just visiting so didn’t even cross my mind

I’m basically just looking for reassurance!

If you lost your phone recently at that stop around the 8th-9th of May I really hope you were reunited with it!!

I’ve been using barefoot shoes for years now, I’m travelling at the moment in the US and this is the first time I am in excruciating pain on my feet.

Sometimes my feet will hurt after a whole day of walking but nothing like this time. At first it was my heel, but now any surface of my feet touching the ground hurts. I’m trying to walk the proper way of putting the side of my foot first but it’s too late. It’s so much I want to cry.

I have 3 pairs of shoes with me , one of them are a pair of vivo that are usually my comfy pair but now no relief.

I’m used to walk a lot so it’s not the first time I walk for hours on end in concrete and I tend to be fine, Ive been to Japan where I walked way more than the last few days and I was fine. I’ve been stretching my calves and toes, giving myself massages, nothing helps.

I’m walking less the last couple of days and so slow, I’m thinking I should pop in for a foot massage or go to the sauna.

I was also thinking about getting a heel pad, or a silicone sole , again it’s been years since I used barefoot and I’ve been fine without an extra sole I always tend to remove it. But I need to think about something that could help me now.

I was going to get some bedrock sandals during this trip once I’m in NYC but that’s two days away and tbh the fact that the three pair of shoes I’m using here are now painful tells me that it’s not going to help.

Do I have plantar fasciitis or heel spurs or any other thing that was okey until now and suddenly decided to show up?

At this point taking any other step makes me sick, please share your magic trick and help me out
