Question about new Thailand 30 day Visa

So I came to Thailand in February. I stayed 60 days and paid for the extension for 30 days for a total of 90 days in this calendar year. I came over to Cambodia for 2 weeks. My intentions were to go back to Thailand to travel for another 50-60 days before I go home. My question is with the new 30-day Visa, and me already being in the country this year for 90 days.

Am I going to be able to get the new 30 days with an extension without a problem or am I going to be capped out at 30 days ?

I'm trying to do some research but the news is so new about the 30 day Visa I can't really find the answers

I'm a Canadian I used up my 60 day Visa and also my 30-day extension. However I've only seen half of Thailand and I would genuinely like to see the other half. I have to leave by May 4th. I'm looking to go to another country for up to a week and come back into Thailand and continue my traveling. I don't work here I don't work online I'm strictly here to travel. My plan was to go to Vietnam for 2 or 3 weeks however I didn't realize the Visa was going to take 5 days with today Friday being a holiday there. When I applied for the Thailand Visa it only took 2 days. Anyway I'm stressing out trying to figure out where to go where everything is above board and I have no problems coming back in to Thailand. I don't want to sit in the van for 15 hours and drive over a border and come back in for one day and take the chance of a problem. I'm willing to fly somewhere that doesn't need a Visa or visa on arrival. I've done a lot of reading and it's overwhelming me. Can someone please give me an answer that's not going to stress me out so I can make plans today. I know this question has been asked a thousand times but I am not good at making decisions and I genuinely need straight forward direct answers with any extra help would be appreciated. I'm looking to fly out of Bangkok .

Thank you very much
