Body Recomp?

5’3 26F 128lbs. I lost 50 lbs in 10 months (first picture is me before weight loss). Recently did an inbody scan when I was 130 and I’m at 23%bf. I want to continue to get more muscle. I’m going to the gym focusing on strength training 4 times a week with 1 day of cardio (running).

I dead ass don’t know where to go from here. Ive never thought I’d actually get to this point of weight loss/lifestyle changes. Do I focus on a body recomp? Do I just bulk?

Help :)

Help with body recomp

129 lb F/26. I recently lost 50 lbs. i did an inbody scan and have 23% BF. I would like to get to the 19-21% range to maybe develop better ab line for the aesthetics.

I have no idea where to start with this. A body recomp? My diet consists of AM fast, ground beef sweet potato and kale for lunch, then chicken and rice for dinner. I stay away from sweets and dairy. I work out 5 times a day and do weightlifting. Do I need to incorporate cardio? More ab exercises? Help!

Career switch advice: urban planner → construction/project management (NYC)?

I'm currently an urban planner for a larger-sized East Coast city, reviewing development projects for historic compliance, coordinating with developers/ architects/contractors, and evaluating large-scale investment proposals.

Before that I worked as a real estate project coordinator (tracking permits, timelines, and a multi-property portfolio) and did policy/research work in urban planning.

I'm considering moving into construction or project management roles, ideally in NYC, and I'm trying to figure out the most realistic path in.

A few questions:
\- Is my background (permitting/compliance/ coordination, not hands-on field work) enough to break into entry-to-mid PM roles, or do I need field/ trade experience first?

\-Worth getting OSHA 30 and a Procore cert before applying, or just apply and learn on the job?

\- Public sector (housing agency PM roles) vs. private developer/GC - which is the smarter entry point for someone with my background?

Appreciate any input, especially from people who've made a similar jump or who hire for these roles.

45lbs Down! (26F, 5’3”, 175 —> 130).

It finally came crumbling down when the doctors told me I had to get an organ removed as a result of my bad eating - which led me to schedule surgery. I always worked out intensely but was never disciplined enough to have steady nutrition. Started to change the way I viewed food. Unfortunately had to get emergency surgery relating to my bad organ a couple months ago which kept me sidelined from the gym for almost 2 months. After, I made a promise to myself to treat my body better - weightlifting and nutrition. Trying to gain more muscle.
My health problems have given me a new view on life. It's a privilege to wake up every day and make the decision to treat your body well, to move, to nourish it.

Lost it

5’3 — 26f currently 130lbs. Was weighing about 175-180lbs about 7 months ago.

It took getting sick and an organ removed to realize what I was doing beforehand was not good. Felt like I got a new chance at life.

Trying to build up muscle mass now.

Telltale signs of a failing relationship

Need insight. 5 year relationship. Feels like we’re in it bc it’s harder for us to break up than to be together.
