Picked this up from the supermarket. Want to smoke them, any consensus on the best way? I know British beef is diff to American (grass Vs grain fed, tighter trim etc).

I had all but set myself on a Classic I with a few accessories, worked out to under £900. However, a friend's old man has a massive Classic III (assume Big Joe?) which looked and seemed seriously impressive, now I can't justify that cost, but it definitely turned my head. I went into a local garden centre and they had all of the KJ's from the baby all the way up to the electronic Big Joe III.
Tbh, I was most drawn to the Classic II.. the air hinge, steel gasket, chimney adjustment and lock all looked like added value, but they are *considerably* more expensive than the original.
Currently my thinking is that this should last me a long, long time so may as well get what I want and it will be money well spent in the long-term, but it's also a good £500 price difference for 'luxuries'. I would also want the charcoal basket as that seems like a decent accessory for aiding in a clean up.
Anyone been here and pull the trigger on either/or?
FWIW I've been smoking on a small WSM and I want a considerable upgrade. The WSM is great, but I wanna take it to the next level and be able to comfortably do overnight smokes. Mainly doing pork shoulder and brisket. Looking forward to doing ribs for the first time.
(I wonder how often this Q gets asked here... gotta be at least once a week surely!)
I use a Bitfunx HDMI Adapter and playing Windwaker for the first time, something just felt off. Maybe the screen too saturated, or the lines too blurred? I'm not sure. Anyway, I added scanlines and it has made it way more easy on the eye. I played Mario Baseball & Luigi's Mansion with scanlines on and they definitely look better. Something about the light/dark contrast gives a better balance & it seems to give a better edge to the graphics.
Looking around on this sub though, it appears I'm in the minority!
Backstory: dug old GC out of loft a while ago now, found this sub and others, shocked the modding community here was so vast and popular.
Ordered FD last August after seeing YT reviews and people raving about it. Delay after delay. Bought a cubeODE as I had bought another GC with a bad optical drive and it has been bang on. Faultless pretty much.
I was going to give this to my brother who lives overseas and install FD on my OG cube. However, feels like it is a bit of a piss take at this point. I don't even really wanna be giving whose behind FD money at this point due to the very poor Comms and insane wait time. I mean, wtf? Stop taking order.
I'm tempted by the above. Only differences I can see that would be major are the fact that load times are slower than on FD and I would miss out on the FD much prettier UI.
The other features I've seen I doubt I'd even use although it's like having a watch with an impressive dive depth.. nice to have although useless in most circumstances.
It would ve great to get community thoughts and I doubt this is the first or last time this topic will be breached.
