My 8yo French bulldog got his leg removed cause a growth. Never got a positive id on the growth until after the surgery.

Osteosarcoma

Doc is pretty sore we got all the mass with the amputation- but we’re still bringing him into an oncologist to see any options we have to keep him safe (chemo or radiation at this point?)

How likely is osteosarcoma to pop up elsewhere? Is this a losing battle, and we should just focus on comfort? Or does he have a chance of remission/longer life?
