Servant of the Lake Similarities to Other Games (*SPOILERS* for SotL, Exit 8, and Lorelei and the Laser Eyes)

While playing through Servant of the Lake, I noticed a few similarities to Exit 8 and Lorelei and the Laser Eyes (highly recommend, I think the Rusty Lake fanbase would really enjoy this one), which came out in 2023 and 2024 respectively. I wonder if the RL devs took inspiration from these games? Let me know if you noticed any similarities to other puzzle games in Servant of the Lake!

My Modest Perfume Collection

Took my non-travel size bottles out for a photo op—don’t worry, they normally live in my dedicated fragrance fridge!

I don’t have a big collection but I am really into fragrance and have been since I was in my teens. It took me over 20 years to find fragrances that work for my skin, which tends to amplify everything. Combined with a sensitivity to white florals and strong fixatives, this made it quite difficult for me to find fragrances that don’t give me a headache. My current collection, thankfully, works well with my skin and I enjoy every single one of them.

I would love to hear about your own fragrance journey, as well as any recommendations for notes/families that might be missing in my collection.

My New Speedy 20! I Could Not Resist

Okay, after obsessing over this Blue Jean colourway for weeks, I finally pulled the trigger! This is my first Empreinte bag, I am loving the more subtle monogram pattern and how soft the leather is. The gold hardware and the blue just work so well together.

I use my Speedy 25 a lot in the summer, but honestly, given how little I carry to the office, I thought I would join the Speedy 20 club (like u/frankota haha) to see how things go. Although I prefer how the 25 looks on me, I'm not such a fan of how my belongings would rattle around since there is so much space leftover. The 20 is definitely on the small side for the office, but since it actually fits my items perfectly, I'm looking forward to using it as my every day carry.

Would love to see your Speedys, I think the Soft 30 may be next on my list!
