Just started the game 1 month ago, man what the fuck...
Sorry for poor english. I played multiple gacha games but nothing ever sticks to me (Genshin, GBF, HSR) played since first launch but drop it after a day or two. Then I saw Wuwa gameplay of 3.3 and got me thinking "oh this looks cool, let me try since I got nothing to play." and install it. I played many JRPG games since PS1 era and playing gacha games felt like chore because i have to learn so much lore and it bore me because of many lore dumping on first part of the games.
Boy I underestimate this game so much, the story telling is really different from other gacha games. I just finished 3.4 main story quest without min maxing my team to complete the story because the game give you trial characters to play it (looking at you HSR). This game is amazing, easy to digest (story and combat), great show not tell, I barely see any black screen with explanation text. I wish i played this game sooner, but it's okay because im not missing much except Sigrika banner (rerun when?).
I rate Wuwa 8.5/10 coming from a guy who always think gacha game is boring and looking all the same.
Also this is my personal opinion, I hope Rover stop gathering wives every patch man. Sometimes the trope can be fun but if it present on every patch it will get tiresome. Except the Iuno questline, that quest is romantic as fuck and i can't stop listening to the ending song.
