Staying at the Yacht Club for four nites in late July and wanted to see if anyone has had experience using Door Dash to deliver water, snacks and the like. We have done this at Saratoga and Contemporary but that was five or so years ago and I know some policies have changed around the Resorts and they charge a processing fee now.

I’m not concerned about the extra fees - it will be more than worth it for the bottled waters alone! But I find mixed results on the Internet about whether the bell stand at the Yacht Club will accept the Door Dash order if we are not there to receive it.

We’re not landing our first day until about 5PM so it will be close to 6PM when we get to the resort but we’re planning to hop straight to Disney Springs for a dinner reservation. I don’t want to have to be available to meet a Dasher to pick up the order and was hoping that the bell stand could receive it and even deliver it to our room later.

Anyone doing this / have done something like this recently?

Hello! My wife and I stayed at the Yacht Club in April - loved it. Hadn’t been to that resort since they refurbished the pool.

Anyway, we were in the midst of watching Daredevil: Born Again at the time and so I unplugged the HDMI cable in the back of the room’s TV and connected it to an Apple Adapter and then to my iPad Mini to stream our Disney+ account and watch the show.

Well, we could get picture all day long - and sound - but the VOLUME of the TV was super super loud! The TV remove for the room wouldn’t control the volume of the TV - it only appears to work with the in-room stream that I had disconnected temporarily by unplugging the HDMI Cable.

Has anyone else attempted this and if so, have you found a way to control the volume? We ended up connecting our AirPods to my iPad Mini to listen to the show that way which wasn’t the best experience.
