So I was born and raised on the PlayStation, from ps2 to ps5. Im starting to think about getting an Xbox but im not sure if I should pull the trigger yet, gimme some pros and cons and what yall think I should do
1. The June 29 Hearing is Just a Formality
The next big date is the preliminary hearing on June 29, 2026. This is not the actual trial yet. Right now, the prosecutors just have to show the judge they have enough solid evidence to justify keeping the case moving.
They have the victim’s DNA from his garage, tiny plastic pieces from the pool he used to hide her body embedded in her remains, and a digital trail of him ordering chainsaws and body bags under a fake name. Because of that, the judge is 100% going to send this straight to a full trial.
2. The Charges Mean No Chance of Parole
The LA County DA threw the absolute book at him. They charged him with First-Degree Capital Murder with three severe rules attached: lying in wait, killing a witness, and killing for money (allegedly murdering a 14-year-old child just to protect his music career).
These extra rules take away any chance of normal parole. If he is found guilty of even one of them, his only two options under the law are life in prison without parole or the death penalty.
3. It Will Take Years to Get a Verdict
Do not expect this to finish anytime soon. The police have an overwhelming amount of data (iCloud accounts, text messages, Uber tracking, and phone logs).
Because he is fighting for his life, his lawyers are going to use every trick they can to drag this out. They will spend months trying to block the digital evidence and questioning the DNA tests. Because of these long legal battles, a final jury probably won't even be picked until late 2027 or 2028. He will be stuck in jail without bail the entire time.
4. The Prosecutor's Strategy
The DA is waiting until after the June 29 hearing to make the final choice on whether they will ask for the death penalty.
Even though California isn't actively executing people right now, prosecutors still push for the death penalty sentence because it changes how they pick the jury. It lets them remove anyone who is totally against the death penalty, which leaves a much stricter jury that is more likely to convict. Given how horrific this case is, the state has no reason to offer him any kind of deal.
Let's hope Celeste gets the justice that she deserves.

I'm so confused on who drove the tesla last, SF says that it was someone with long hair and a red jersey on july 29th which is obviously neo based of that post on the same day, but in the court documents the claim that david was the last person to drive it on the 29th as well.... all this is so confusing
