Hi folks, I just sold an Alienware x17 r2 which had 64gb (2x32) of 4800MHz DDR5 SODIMM memory working great. I pulled the RAM and am selling it separately. Yes, RAM prices are crazy, but this is cheaper than recent eBay sold listings.

Hi folks, up for sale is Alienware's top-spec x17 r2! This beast is thin with a high quality build. The 12th-gen i9 HX CPU is overclockable and undervoltable, though I didn't mess around with that. The 2tb NVME is super fast, as is the 16gb(!) RTX 3080 ti GPU. The 17" 4k 120hz screen is very bright (450-500 nits) and flawless. Original slim charger included. The laptop is in probably 8.5/10 shape with only a couple of marks to the chassis, as the pics show. Battery life is down to 67%, but replacements are not pricey.

This config came with 64gb (2x32) of 4800MHz DDR5 memory. I bought a kit of 16gb (2x8) 5600MHz Hynix memory with the idea of downgrading and selling the RAM online, where it's going for $400-$500! So here are the options for prospective buyers:
