I had bought two pregnant amano females, one of them released their zoae about a week ago. I was and still am massively unprepared, as I only had a saltwater tank going for little over 48 hours with instant ocean and RODI water.
I have no green water as well and have been feeding them seachem phytoplankton marine, no water changes in, and I have a a very large population that is still thriving.

I am very confused and perplexed that they’re even alive, I fully accepted that they would be dead by day 2 or 3 but it’s day 10 now.
