3 things I wish clothing startups knew before approaching a manufacturer

1. Manufacturers are not mind readers

A tech pack gives exact instructions measurements, stitching, fabric, trims, construction. Without it factories guess. Guessing creates wrong samples, delays, and wasted money.

2. Skipping the tech pack is expensive

Wrong sizing. Bad fit. Incorrect fabrics. Delayed samples. Endless revisions. Every mistake costs you money and time you don't have as a startup.

3. Tech packs aren't just for big brands

Small brands need them more. You can't afford expensive production mistakes the way Nike can.

I make factory-ready tech packs for clothing startups ask me anything

Been working in fashion design for a while now and one thing I keep seeing small clothing brands get rejected by manufacturers or end up with wrong samples because their tech pack is either missing info or just not factory-friendly.

So ask me anything. Sizing, construction details, measurement specs, materials whatever you're stuck on.

Happy to help.
