Which country is best for grad school + program recommendations
I’m an international student and I have a bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering from the US. I want to pursue a masters degree and I was admitted to a program in my alma mater, but I’m having serious second thoughts given everything happening in the US and given that my specific program was affected and now has very limited courses offered.
I want to get your opinions on graduate programs in the US, UK, Canada, Europe, Asia and honestly I’m open to going anywhere that offers good education and opportunities. I want to specifically compare different countries in terms of hands-on project based classes, which one favors exam based classes, research opportunities, engagement and involvement with stakeholders and the community, work opportunities for international students after graduation (I don’t plan to get sponsorship or live there forever, just work there for a couple of years), and salary after graduation.
I’m interested in programs that combine environmental engineering, human/community centered design, and public health/ medical related research. I also prefer project based courses instead of exam-heavy courses. I would also like to work while doing my masters if that’s possible.
Also, if any specific program comes to mind that you think I should look into please let me know!
Thank you all!
