minted after the battle of Kosovo in 28 june 1389. the obverse depicts Christ, with the Gospels in Hand, and the reverse now already canonized Saint Lazar.

ever since i bought this M. Aurelius sestertius, it has been getting these weird red spots all over it, but what is even weirder is that they after some time just dissappear - and even though this tray has 4 silica gels, and the room the suitcase with trays is almost never hot, i just dont know what is happening with it
started collecting ancients around 2 years ago, and ive never though id be having denarii from Nero, or Hadrian etc. but praise be to Christ, i do!
The obverse depicts Christ with the Gospels surrounded by 'ΙC XC', while the reverse depicts the heraldic symbol of Stefan's family - a shield with an eagle on it, and a helmet with ox horns with the inscription ' ДЕСПОТЬ '.
As much as i know, this was minted by the Gepidii for the Ostrogoths and the Ostrogoths minted it for Byzantine
