What are your routines? Please share tips and tricks 😭

I am currently a summer law student with a 14 month old. By the time I get to the office, I am depleted and exhausted from the chaos of the morning - breakfast, drop off, and getting to the office. And, that is assuming baby had a good night’s sleep. With chores and managing dinners and the house - I am about to lose my mind)

My partner is very supportive and does a lot of the pick ups or drop offs but some days I have to do them alone. He also manages a lot of the night wakings when baby is awake at night.

But, we both are exhausted and it’s just been the summer!

I am going to join the same place next year as an articling student (I’m in Ontario), so I wanted to get ideas on what would be best to manage the morning and streamline it as much as possible.

Things we already do:

- prep all the morning things the night before: baby’s breakfast, daycare bag, work bags, etc.
- do a load of laundry as soon as there is one
- plan what we are having for dinner during the weekend

Canadian PR - National of Suspended and Banned Country

Hello. I’m hoping to get some advice or anecdotes so I can decide what is best for me to do.

I am a national of a country that is both on the visa suspension list and ban list. But, I am a Canadian PR. I am applying for the visa from Canada. I read the proclamation for the suspension and ban. And, and its core, it seems to be about countries: 1) whose governments don’t have heightened standards for passport issuance, and 2) whose nationals have generally heavily relied on US public resources.

Since I am a Canadian PR, I imagine the first issue is not an issue for me. I have also traveled to the US and Europe multiple times before. So, I would think that the identity verification is not as much of an issue for my particular case.

As for the second issue, as a Canadian PR, I would also imagine that I am not a risk for use of US public resources. I can also demonstrate strong ties to Canada.

My question is: am I going to get my visa rejected just because I am a national of a suspended country? Or, is it on a case by case basis? Has anyone been through something similar?

My appointment is coming up next week and I need to decide what is best to do. I booked it two years ago and so much has changed since then.

ETA: Applying from Canada for B1/B2 Visa.
