Some of my characters on Pc-Eu

Hi everyone,

I’ve been waiting to unlock my account.

While going through some old photos on my phone, I found these screenshots that I had sent to a friend. They show just a few of my 20 characters.

You can also see some of my favorite outfits, several of my Apex mounts, and the characters I spent years building through both PvE and PvP.

The last picture shows my Necromancer Grand Overlord wearing the full Ebonsteel Knight armor set.

Looking back at these pictures made me realize just how much time & MONEY I spent collecting everything over the years: style pages, Crown Store collectibles, Crown Crates, event rewards, dungeon and trial rewards…

“After years of playing ESO, my account was permanently banned for cheating while I was barely even playing. Please help me understand.”

Today is a very sad day for me.

I had just finished treating one of my patients at my dental office when I received an email from ESO Support.

It felt strange. Why would Support be contacting me?

I started reading the email in front of my patient without giving any explanation.

As I continued reading, I could feel my face changing. My patient looked at me and asked:

“Doctor, are you okay?”

I stayed calm, gave him the final recommendations, his prescription, and then left him with my secretary to arrange payment and his next appointment.

Then I read the email again:

Question Reference # 260622-001005

>Status: Read Answer Provided

Greetings,

We regret to inform you this account has been permanently deactivated as a result of violating the Code of Conduct through Cheating/Exploiting.

We cannot allow cheating or the exploitation of the game, as it is in direct violation of the following sections of our Code of Conduct:

I was attending a medical congress from June 5th to June 16th. Before that trip, I had not played ESO for several weeks.

While traveling, I tried to log in only once from my MacBook Pro at the hotel where I was staying. After several crashes, I simply gave up and stopped trying to play.

Before my business trip, I had already spent a lot of time at the Night Market. I managed to obtain the antiquity leads for the new “Shattered” ring and told myself I would farm the remaining leads later.

Thank you, ZOS, for extending the lead expiration timer beyond 30 days.

When I returned home, I logged in only once. Minion 4 launched automatically and I performed the usual “migrate, update, repair” process for my add-ons.

I collected the Night Market reward crate from my in-game mail, but I didn’t even have time to open it. I told myself I would look at it later.

So I still do not understand at what point I could possibly have cheated, botted, or exploited anything.

I simply have not been logged into the game long enough over the past several weeks to do anything remotely resembling cheating.

This account contains achievements that I could never reproduce in my lifetime.

I have farmed almost every set in the game. On several trials, I am close to 100% completion. I have all the monster masks.

I own almost every house in the game. Several of them were decorated by one of the greatest housing decorators in ESO history. I don’t think she would ever agree to redecorate them again if I lost everything. Big thanks to her.

I have collected countless style pages from Undaunted events and many other rare sets. I earned the prestigious “Grand Master Crafter” title after spending enormous amounts of time and gold collecting style pages from guild traders.

So many hours invested.

20 characters on it, since subclassing I stop to play others characters.

In PvP, I have achieved almost everything I ever wanted. I have multiple Grand Overlord characters. The number of skins, emotes, personalities, arena weapons, collectibles, and sets on this account is impossible to count.

I could never do all of this again.

I have been playing almost exclusively ESO for years. My daughter even created a beautiful piece of artwork inspired by my passion for the game, which I am sharing below.

I am 50 years old.

I am a doctor.

If I lose this account, I will never start over. Not after the thousands of hours invested. Not after all the farming, the group content, the sleepless nights.

I cannot count the number of times I spent hours forming 12-player trial groups just to complete difficult content.

I cannot count the number of arenas I ran at 2 a.m. knowing I had to wake up early and go to work the next day.

At the end of the day, it is only a game, I know.

But I poured years of passion, dedication, friendships, memories, and effort into this account.

And that is something I can never rebuild from scratch.

ZOS, there must be some mistake.

I have barely been online lately, and I genuinely do not understand why I have lost access to my account or why I am being accused of cheating or botting.

I respectfully ask the ESO community and the ZOS team to please review my case with understanding and compassion.

Thank you for taking the time to read my story.
