ai and floral software
random question for shop owners on this subreddit.
with how good AI tools are getting (chatgpt codex, claude code etc), pretty much anyone can build their own floral website and POS software now, even with zero coding background. i've watched someone build a full site in a day using one of these tools. in my mind, this will eventually make software like bloomnation, hana, telaflora etc completely obsolete.
so im just curious -- why aren't more shop owners using these tools NOW, TODAY? it would legit save you hundreds, if not thousands per year in revenue
is it that you don't actually want to learn it and build your own stuff? is it intimidating to build your own POS software? just a head ache and you dont want to deal with it? i've also had many people tell me they're "anti-ai" but is this really worth it to pay 10% of revenue a month for something you could just build yourself?
not selling anything here, genuinely trying to understand what people want / what they're thinking. appreciate your honesty! thanks
