I know this topic has been vastly discussed but I've been rewatching some season 1 scenes and WELL she was ready to DIE FOR AEGON and to TAKE AN EYE FOR AEMOND. in season 2 they obliterated alicent, who could have been one of the greatest characters thanks to Olivia's amazing performance. i feel sad for Olivia cause she's an amazing actress, sadly alicent will be remembered as a stupid and ridicolous character

Allow me to explain:

-Official candidates: they run for prom queen on their own.

-Unofficial candidates: obviously they don't do it by their own: Edelgard was nominated by Hubert, Marianne by Hilda, Manuela by herself but she won't admit it.
