Should i wait for my guaranteed TMU spot or go to George Brown and transfer?
hey everyone,
i could really use some advice because i’ve been going back and forth on this for a while.
i’m a canadian citizen living abroad and because of the war in the middle east my exams got affected so i’m not sure if i’ll be able to start at tmu this fall.
i spoke to someone from admissions and they told me that if i can’t start this year i’d still have a guaranteed spot for fall 2027. i’m really thankful for that but at the same time the thought of waiting a whole year is getting to me.
instead i’ve been thinking about going to george brown for business administration so i’m at least doing something instead of sitting at home and then hopefully transferring to tmu for fall 2027.
has anyone done this before? is it worth it? would i have to finish the whole 3 year diploma before transferring or could i transfer after my first year if my credits count?
i’m just trying to make the best decision because i really don’t wanna waste a whole year if i don’t have to but i also don’t wanna make things harder for myself if waiting is the better option.
