New desktop CNC competitor, Tooldance X1, first cutting vid is out

(not promoting) Looks pretty good. Checking out the details on the site, this looks like a decent step up from the Nestworks C500 in the areas that matter, 9 tools up to 10mm, 1.5kw, flood coolant, working area, 5ax trunnion even. Same base price in the campaign, about $3000. They are going to several expos in the next 2 months, will be very interesting to see what's up with this. I feel like this is the spot where a lot of the market was hoping to get to, the C500 was like 85% there. (I think it's great in its own regard too tbf)

Thoughts/first impressions/details noticed in this footage? Side-loading ATC is very interesting, want to know more about that.

Benchmark of wee desktop mill (AnoleX 4030)

Just got this mill in, ran a test part with the stock 700w craptastic router spindle. Going to compare same tool, program, setup with the 1.5kw VFD spindle next week and see how much better it actually is. The router had .0027" runout in the taper, so I think it will be muuuuch better lol.

Cut Testing with the stock AnoleX 4030

The stock 700w ER11 router is very poorly made, but can actually still cut decently well. For a $900 package this is pretty compelling, in my opinion. I've also just put up a first impressions/review of this platform, and will be doing a lot more with it in the near future.

Using the Carvera Air for Real Production

New video up showing the full process of running a real production part I've designed and sold on the Carvera Air, including speeds + feeds! This really shows the realistic capability of the Carvera machines, in my opinion.
