Tahoe 26.5 no longer lets you change the brightness of external monitors. 🥲

After upgrading to Tahoe 26.5, I can no longer change the brightness of my external monitor. The brightness control is always greyed out in the top menu and unavailable in the monitor settings, while the built-in display works fine.

Does anyone know how to fix this or report to apple? I am using betterdisplay app to control my external monitor’s brightness for now, but I would prefer a native solution if possible.

Spotify takes 35 seconds to play a song 💔

Spotify is extremely slow even after I cleaned the cache. Generally it takes 35 seconds to load the information and play a song. Anyone know what happens or where to report this issue?

Is it still worth building an OpenClaw personal agent based on my use cases?

I finally have a small window from work to learn and run OpenClaw. I am not a native coder, but I am comfortable of using Chatgpt / Claude to vibe code website, app..etc

I’d like to use it as a personal agent to help me with:

  • Acting as a health and fitness coach for training, connected to Whoop, Apple Health, etc.
  • Documenting notes from work and reading to support learning.
  • Ideating on side projects and capturing reflections.
  • Tracking meal consumption and restaurants.
  • Tracking my trail walk across different locations.
  • Managing my schedule.

Do you think it is worth spending the time to follow the tutorial and build the agent, or can Claude Code and Codex already meet these needs?

I’d love to hear your thoughts. Thanks!
