Saturday Barker rerun

Today I saw a show from I guess the 80’s where an older gentleman won Ten Chances in just three tries. Bob made a huge deal about it being the first time it was ever done. Anyone know if it has ever been done since? The car he won was strange- a Chevy 3 cylinder Sprint. 3 cylinders?

Lion’s Share

Last week’s Lion’s Share was a great payoff, but I heard she would walk away with only about 70k?

Also, I rewatched the premiere episode of the season when they played Lion’s Share for the first time and the prizes were nothing great….at least to me. A trip to Tokyo, $2,000, two guitars and something else unimpressive.

Worst/Best prizes

What do you consider the best/worst prizes to win? I’d say cash or car is the best and hot tubs the worst. I wonder, also, how many people like trips when they are to uncommon locations such as Viet Nam.

Old phone game

I’ve seen this on the weekday Barker reruns. It was a little flat or boring but I thought it was a good way to involve home viewers. Does anyone think there should or could be a way for home participation?

Games

Come on Down book

I was reading the Come on Down book and they said that these were the worst games that had to be stopped: Add em up, Bump, checkout ( I thought that is still played) double bullseye, double digits, finish line, fortune hunter, gallery game, give or keep, hit me, hurdles, it’s optional, masterpiece, mystery price, the old “balance game”, on the nose, on the spot, penny ante, phone home, split decision, trader Bob, walk of fame, super saver, super ball,

I only know bump, hit me, the old balance game, on the nose, penny ante, and the phone game. I liked the phone game but the rest deserved to be discontinued

Anyone remember any of these?

Any thoughts on this game. I like it and I think it has good winning potential. Same for the Back to 19… the rear game.

I think Pushover, One Right Price, Do the Math, and Switch are easy games. I find games where the prize is a trip are easy.

I’m not sure if that’s the name of the game where you get the 5 big pennies and have to guess the price. This game doesn’t seem to have a high winning percentage. I think it’s terrible that people don’t realize that if you give the pennies to exclude one price, it’s always the most obvious wrong price they remove.

What is the strategy in this game? Or is there one? I think it’s so difficult, yet some people win in 3 or 4 attempts and others go though so many combinations.

Forgive my questions, I’m new here and I love the show so I have lots of questions. Is this game pretty easy to win a car or am I wrong? Also Lucky 7 seems easier to win a car in comparison. Also, someone told me that the Plinko board is constructed in such away that it is not a good chance for winning high money? Any thoughts
