Hi, I reached G-rank and been taking the chance to play with others online. I feel that my basic loadout for quests helped me deal with low and high rank hunts, but I see more experienced players using other stuff. I'm still a bit confused, can you help/guide me about what should I bring to hunts? specially for hunting with others, like what healing items should I use for others? what bombs should I carry? what barrels should I need if any?

Monster Manual Expanded 5.5 - I want to discuss about the updated book

Recently they updated this great book to 2024 rules. Do anyone want to discuss its content with me, please?

I used to have this idea that "outsiders" reformed in their native plane when die outside of it. Back in 3e era "outsider" was a type of creature that did not have a dual nature (body+soul) and it was made of the essence of a certain plane, I can only find that they don't have souls so it is harder to resurrect them (general rule for outsiders in the glossary), maybe it is from even older editions that they reform?. In the 5.0e MM we have the lore text of devils that says: "If it dies outside the Nine Hells, a devil disappears in a cloud of sulfurous smoke or dissolves into a pool of ichor, instantly returning to its home layer, where it reforms at full strength. Devils that die in the Nine Hells are destroyed forever-a fate that even Asmodeus fears." So all devils worked like that, same for demons and yugoloths. Also the Mane demon has a particular lore description that says it reform after a day, so it can't be killed? The Rakshasa is another fiend that reforms in the nine hells, but apparently only if he dies in the material plane.
Now, in the 2024 MM I see that angels revive if die outside mount celestia and only SOME devils, demons and yugoloths revive if die outside their home plane. Lemures have a tottaly different rule, if the die IN THE NINE HELLS they reform which is the opposite to everything else. Did they ever address this change? Does it reflect older lore (like not all devils been tanar'ris)? Is there any more clear info about souls and metaphysics in dnd'24?
