Hey everyone,

I've been going nuts seeing how bad the roads and infrastructure are in Kalyan-Dombivli lately. Over the past week, I’ve actually gone ahead and filed over 35 official complaints on the KDMC portal for some really dangerous spots mostly massive potholes that can wreck a bike or car, and open, exposed electrical boxes that are basically death traps waiting to happen.

Even with proper tracking IDs, nothing has moved. It's like shouting into a void the local authorities just completely ghost you.

Just so you know what I've tried: I've logged all the complaints, keeping track of the deadlines, and I'm setting things up to drop RTI requests and legal notices once their 30-day window expires. But honestly, the apathy from the municipal side is just next level.

Has anyone here actually managed to get KDMC to fix anything through these portals or legal routes? What else can someone even do when complaints are just completely ignored?

Just wanted to share a quick update on the civic complaints I've been filing around this area

I've filed 24 complaints in last 6 days out of which 3 garbage dumping spots are clear which was actually shocking for me I thought nothing will happen till the timeline exceeds but actually authoritied replied within a week warning boards were also placed there i genuinely first time thought that complaints are working never tried this pehle but the sad part there are again garbage dumping there by citizens like what will even goverment do if citizens are like this authorities cab remove the garbage but they can't change the mindset of them for this reason now I'm trying to raise a dustbin required complaints at the same spots it's our responsibility to actually file complaints and track their responses and reference numbers no one should have that "log sab yaha hamesha kachra fekte" mentality which I'm seeing I saw 2-3 of them throwing trash in from of me on the streets we'll continue filing complaints no matter what
