Shiva from Hinduism honestly feels more comparable to Chaos from Greek paganism than to a typical “god” figure.

Not in the sense of personality or mythology, but symbolically and cosmologically.

Both are tied to the origin and totality of existence itself. Chaos in Greek mythology wasn’t originally just “disorder”; it was the primordial void from which everything emerged. Similarly, Shiva in many Hindu traditions is not merely a destroyer god, but a cosmic force representing dissolution, transformation, transcendence, and the infinite reality beyond creation itself.
