Actually I’ve recently posted abt a modern tafsir and ppl are just keeping on DM i got 9 dms from and all of them are against the Academic studies of Quran. Idk why such ppl are here when they don’t want to learn and just preach the propaganda as if we are kids? Are they scholars or they are what? Also they use hell amt of AI ig they basically lack basic knowledge too. Just there to show u down, I requ admins to think over it. Why ppl are against Academi discussions? And why are such post not shun? This use to be a great sub ig 6 months back. But now it’s just filled with preaches.

Actually looking for some western works in english tho like Der Quran (in german) and which is comparative tafsir written by western schialrs or grp of scholars. And for God’s sake- it should be complet work.

So it was this yr my 21st b’day in Jan I decided that I’ll be a poet in Urdu mainly insp from Jaun Elia - so it was natural that I started liking short meters (beher) and I was focusing on anti-romantic poems and wujudiyat. And I had decided I’ll not use AI even for finding words bcoz I believe poetry is not at all poetry when it has AI in it. So it was 100% me I learned everything on my own and I believe now I have hands on beher - infact I can even make lines in beher even without much thoughts.

Issue is when I was doing it initially- i did focused on vocabulary and still at present i can write great analogies and paradox in my poetry without using any complex words. But since I have seen here in this sub all people use too complex vocabulary which sometimes is not even required. That for me makes things harder. Do u think it is mandatory to write ghazal in complex compound word format?

Maangne pe kahen paas me kuch nahin,

maine kab ye kahan nekiya dijiye,

tum mire saat chal kyun nahi pa rahi,

paao me hai kahin aabla to nahi

(both metered in 212*4)

also if I find a partner here for writing and sharing that will be great Tqsm (Note: some who is well-versed and not a random person who don’t know abt beher and all)
