why didnt illumi manipulate alluka?

illumi is a master manipulator who was able to manipulate killua and influence his actions indirectly without having him notice anything. and one of his main goals is to take control of alluka. so the question is , why didnt he simply manipulate alluka/nanika into fullfilling any wish for free? is it not possible because they're different entities? I know that his current plan invovles manipulating killua to indirectly take command of alluka , but couldnt he have done that directly before killua broke alluka out?

MoonLight GreatSword

type: specialization

subtypes: emission , manipulation , conjuration

description:

the user conjures a huge mint-green glowing sword , the sword cant damage it's target but instead, it lowers their aura output (sword output=reduced aura output).

if the ability is trained with much more profieciency and mastery , it can exorcise nen curses and manipulation effects by targeting the foreing aura that's affecting the victim

the user can launch a sword slash that deals 60% of the intended output

this ability pair well with an enhancer ,where the user can lower the opponent's aura output while the enhancer deals big damage against the enemy

the sword might look big , but it's actually pretty light and can comfortable be wielded with one hand even if it's meant to be two-handed

restrictions:

due to the harmless nature of the sword , this ability can only be used supportively and cant bring harm to it's target outside of lowering their output

the sword itself draws it's power from the moon , hence the name "moonlight greatsword".

so it's only usable during night-time and it's efficiency depends on the moon phase (functions at 100% during a fullmoon and at 20% during a dark-night),

that being said, the user can still use the ability even with the absence of the moon and that's by "recharging the sword"

the recharging process involves the user entering a state of zetsu while the sword takes energy from their aura , the sword glows brightly in this state , wich could draw enemies' attention

the user can use the sword for 3 hours with the moon's absence

special cases:

a blue moon :

- the moonlight greatsword takes a bright-blue color and functions at 200% and can let the user use the stolen aura-output from their target

a bloody moon :

-the moonlight greatsword takes a bloody-red color and can now harm their target ,instead of the target's aura-output , it now lowers the user's in exchange for a much higher attack power (attack power= 3x the reduced output of the user)

-once the ability is active during a blood-moon , it cant be dismissed till the bloodmoon is over

solar-eclipse:

a special case where the sword can be freely used during the day since the moon is technically present

the moonlight greatsword takes a pitch-black color with glowing white color from it's edges

while in this state , the user enters a state of zetsu but the sword is capable of ignoring aura-defence harming users greatly

do convenient restrictions give less hatsu-buff than normal restriction?

for example: im a master swordsman who's excellent at a specific style of swordsmanship. i use my conjuration to make a sword that can only do damage if i use the specific fighting style that im excellent at. thus giving myself a restriction that doesnt hold me back in the least. is that kind of restriction inefficient compared to other normal restriction that can affect you? like if i did the opposite and restricted my conjured sword to doing damage when im NOT using my favored fighting style , does the fact that im putting myself at a big disadvantage with not using my preffered swordstyle give me a greater hatsu-buff than normal?
