The Seventh Lair

The Seventh Lair

THIS WAS NOWHERE NEAR COMEDIC
I JUST FINISHED IT AND I CAN’T STOP CRYING OMG
I THOUGHT IT WAS JUST SOME KIND OF A BACKSTAGE EPISODE AND IT’S JUST A SHORT STORY BUT OH GOD THIS BROUGHT UNBELIEVABLE TEARS TO ME..
it also takes me back, if i do remember in base game it was mentioned that if michel had stayed more in the mansion, alone. he would have cursed the souls of his family.. Giselle’s quite LITERALLY the light of Michel’s life.
reading doors 5-8 happily ever ~after~ sub episode and ghost of an excuse short stories and now the seventh lair.. omg i don’t think any fictional relationship could come close in terms of how they impacted me (or the times they made cry).. i really can’t wait to finish the erasmus with it’s short stories and finally read reincarnation and at the same time i don’t want to ):
PLEASE EVERYONE GIVE ME YOUR THOUGHTS ON THE SEVENTH LAIR!!

Javi..

i had noticed that my goat javi who carried door 2 on his back had never made an appearance after that. even in the backstage episode of the house in fata morgana, all characters appeared except him (and hayden and arthur and some other characters) but atleast unlike them he actually appeared in the game.. why such cruelty..
also what is his connection with morgana or any of the characters?
for an example the characters in the first 3 doors had something to do with >!morgana!< life:
- mell and the rhodes family no need for explanation
- the beast and pauline
- jacopo and maria (of course)
was he one of the kids that used to be with >!pauline!< as a nun when she was running her own chruch in RFI?
is that why he was helping her find the merchant?
i heard that he was made so people think he was the slave boy that was mentioned in >!morgana’s!< story but in door 8 we learn from michel that the slave boy is >!jacopo!<
even his short story was like a minute long and it was bad.

Tiny Detail That You Noticed

spoilers for (requiem for innocence) & (tales wasted away in obscurity)
i noticed that mell in both of his lives he always >!kills himself!<
the first one in requiem for innocence: he >!kills himself after the death of his sister and revealing the truth of the blood!<
the second in slow-killing poison: we know from arthur that he >!kills himself after his sister died when she became 18 and he died three years after her and there was voices haunting him before that!<
such a tiny, easily missed detail ): i really love mell and it’s sad to see his fate (i don’t think he could have done anything about morgana’s situation)
hope this isn’t what happens to him in reincarnation.
