VFR Flight Following Decent near Class C

I'm planning my long distance cross country flight and I have a procedural question. My cross country flights so far with VFR FF usually involve the initial call up, a few hand offs, and then I request to descend with runway in sight to an uncontrolled field. For this flight the end of my first leg is a small class D underlying a class C shelf. Will I be given instructions for decending and getting in touch with the tower?

Skill Issue or scamed?

Twice now I've pulled up to a settlement, checked all around me, and as soon as i'm grabbing my first box of loot a trampler is right on top of mine. Is this a known cheat thing or am I just blind?

Completely overwhelmed by test prep

Hey all,

I have about 25 hours towards my PPL and am starting to really sit down and prep for the written test. I bought Sporty's PPL course and enjoyed the videos, felt like I was learning the material well, but I am bombing my practice tests. It just seems like so much material and a lot of rote memorization which I'm not good with.

Any tips for breaking this down into more manageable chunks? I'm really stressing out.

Sorry I know the quality of the phot isn't the best:

From what I can tell opposite branching. I think the leaves are compound, I always have a hard time telling. The middle of the photo shows one of the fruiting/flower structures I belive as well. Multi-stemed, barke was pretty heavily fissured, reminded me almost of red oak or silver maple with the parts that were peeling slightly.
