Thinking about a road trip
I’m thinking about taking my beloved Big Hoopty on a trip from NC to Florida. 1,400 miles there and back plus all the driving in Florida to go to and from the beaches. She’s an 04, 1500 and has 260 something thousand miles on her. I just bought her last March and haven’t taken her on a trip that long before. The previous owners said they took her on family trips all the time but he was a mechanic and I’m sure he kept up with her better than I do 😅 I replaced the radiator back in March and just got a new battery. She definitely needs an alignment, some new brakes and an oil change before making that trip, but I was wondering if there was anything else I can check and make sure she’s in the best shape for that big of a trip.
