Am I remembering wrong? Dirtbag filling

I'm 49 years old, and when I was in HS in the 90s, we'd all hang out at lunch in a hacky circle. Dirt Bags were the best - so easy to stall.

So flash forward 30 years, and I found one at a store, so I snapped it up and was really excited until I opened it up and found that the filling was a lot more coarse than I remember it being. OK, no problem. I'll order one from the official website. That one just came in the mail today, and it's got the same coarse sand as the one I bought at the store.

I swear I remember the filling being *really* fine sand. Almost powder fine, and it had some weight to it. Am I hallucinating or did something change over the last few decades? Do they offer anything like that now?

Car has been sitting in the driveway for 2 years. What needs to be done?

Everything works - it starts with a jump. I assume the battery is toast, and most of the fluids should be changed. Inspected it for leaks and found what I hope is not a head gasket issue (pic). Oil *level* is fine, and the trans fluid looks clean. Power steering and brake fluid definitely need changing. I drove it around the block, and the only weird noise I heard was something likely related to the brakes. Assuming it was just buildup from sitting. Rotors are smooth but I can't really see the pads. Actually I just drove it a few miles to try to charge the battery and I'm hearing a hollow sort of grinding noise from the rear end. Could be a bearing? Didn't have any related issues before. No spots underneath where it was sitting.

Y'all I did the cookie and it came out PERFECT

Pyrex pan, light coat of pam, plop the whole bucket of dough in the middle, 325 for an hour. Crispy on the outside and runny on the inside. Serve with B&J Cookie VerMonster, caramel & fudge, and a big glass of milk.
