So I have a portal + with Full Kiosk installed, and I'm using it as an Home Assistant dashboard.

The part that I'm struggling with is the presence integration. Ideally, I would like the portal the lit up when I'm around, go dark when I'm not. I thought the Portal would handle this but it is struggling.

what are you guys doing to handle this ?

so, I recently got laid off, and I’m trying to find the best option for getting unemployment. because I was employed at a fairly high salary until now, if I get employment now, I will pay taxes based on this high salary.

i would like to delay getting the check until next year. I have savings to last, and I’m pretty sure I won’t find a job until then.

1- doable ?

2- should I just wait and register in Jan ? or register now, and say “I’m going on vacation” until Jan ?

my internet research is not clear in how to do this.
