Hello, I am about to move to Montreal with my family towards the end of this year. I am looking for a 3 or a 4 bhk apartment in a central area. My job offers me an allowance of 7100 cad per month for rent (I cannot pocket the difference if I move into a cheaper place). I have talked to a few people and they recommend looking for luxury penthouse units. However I am completely unaware of the prime locations and luxury buildings. Would appreciate it if someone can educate me on where I should look and what to look for. I dont understand French so would appreciate English replies only.
