Claire slapping jamie

One thing that really bothers me about Claire is the double standard. In season one, she was upset when Jamie beat her, but throughout the rest of the show, she’s constantly slapping him and calling him a 'bloody bastard.' It’s completely absurd. Abuse is abuse, no matter who is doing it. And after getting hit, jamie always turns on.

Disappointed with season but I am ok with finale

  1. I found this Season incredibly disappointing, mostly because the Faith and Fanny storyline felt so narrative-less. For instance, the moment where the stone shatters in Fanny’s hands had no real payoff. If the writers were set on using this plot, it would have been much more efficient to have Jamie and Claire uncover the fanny identity and during a brothel visit by themselves and collects whatever information statement by jane and all those thing. Rather than dragging it out from the very first scene of the season by that man who killed faith.

  2. We need a much better explanation of how and why Master Raymond did all of this. Why didn’t he just give Faith to Mother Hildegarde or Louise? For that matter, why didn't he give Faith back to Claire when he healed her and who on earth did they actually bury?

  3. They could have easily omitted the 'Swift of Lizards' episode entirely it felt completely useless and served no real purpose in setting up the finale.

  4. I understand the writers' logic: they had to kill off Fergus because he never would have accepted Le Comte St. Germain’s inheritance otherwise. By killing him, Marsali was able to claim the money so she could start her life again and printing press and by that sense Fergus was loyal to jamie. So it was Marsali who claim money leaving the family wealthy. However, adding the pregnancy storyline on top of that just felt completely unnecessary and silly.

There wasn't a single scene showing Claire grieving for Fergus or offering any comfort to Marsali.

  1. Why did William even need to find out that Lord John is gay? It honestly felt like ragebait, or just a way to have Lord John and Amaranthus hurt him. It seems like the writers only broke his heart so that he would finally find solace in Jamie because if he hadn't been so devastated, he probably never would have forgiven Jamie.

  2. Roger looked tired sleepy and tired entire season.

  3. Why was Ferguson only obsessed with Jamie? What happened to John Sevier, Benjamin Cleveland and Isaac Shelby from Franks book where were they during the battle? Also, it makes no sense that nobody searched Ferguson for weapons after capturing him. Isn't checking a prisoner the number one unwritten rule?

  4. For the finale episode, i was expecting kinda similar ending in my head, but what was with this cliffhanger. For Godsake its series finale, not season finale.

Well my personal favourite episode were in the forest (8) and Abies Fraseri (3) from this season.

If jamie dies at kings mountain

If Jamie dies at the Battle of Kings Mountain, he and Claire would have been together for only 12 years plus 2 years before Culloden. 1768 to 1780. Clearly, Frank had more of claire than jamie.

Frank and claire sees dance at stone

I have a feeling that when Frank and Claire go to the stones to see the dance in the first episode, the girl who returns from the group to pick up her ribbon is Fanny. Since we have clearly discovered she can travel, it makes sense or i am thinking too much
