i’ve (21F) been having on and off knee problems for the past 3 years but it’s been constant recently, so i got an MRI. the results showed that i have a peripheral medial meniscus tear. i was wondering if anyone has been in the same boat and what has worked for you? i’ll be doing physiotherapy starting next week but the doctor said i’d need arthroscopy if it doesn’t improve within a month :(

i’m not sure how to describe the sensation but it feels like there’s air trapped in my knee. the sensation comes and goes away but has been happening since 2023. for context, i started cycling on a static bike pretty rigorously in 2023 then stopped, so i suspect that might have something to do with it, but i’m not sure why it’s still going on and what i should try to do to recover
