Hello everyone!
I am interested in applying to the nursing program at BMCC.
I still have to take the science classes for prereqs.
I am planning on taking them through ePermit at another CUNY.
If anyone has taken them at another CUNY (preferably community college) and found it to be easier or better, plsss let me know which CUNY community colleges to ePermit at along with the course name.
I would really appreciate it.

And if you have taken any of the science classes in the summer, please mention that as well, as I’m confused if I should take any of the science classes in the summer (would speed things up.. but idk about the content overload)

Also another question I had: is it ok to take the other science classes (other than required prereqs) like a&p 2 and microbiology at another CUNY or do they have to be done at BMCC?

Hey. So, I’m a student interested in the BMCC Nursing program. I reached out to

ypadmore@bmcc.cuny.edu

and asked her two questions. She didn’t answer the first question. Not sure if it’s an obvious answer or I just wrote it confusingly lol. But, I just wanted to make sure so I can know whether I should complete prereqs before applying to BMCC or it’s ok to complete when there and then apply for ePermit for those courses.
If anyone knows the answer that would be great.

I basically am figuring out a good way to complete prereqs while also not wasting time to get into the program. Because I heard you cannot apply for the program first semester at BMCC. So if i’m done with prereqs before first semester at BMCC i would waste a semester. But Im also worried I won’t be able to retake classes once Im done with my first semester at BMCC…?

Question:
Can I retake classes (up to two times) for each prerequisite whenever I would like when admitted into BMCC? (Any time up until I have used those two chances and before applying to the program).  Or can the retakes only be done the first semester when I am at BMCC? After that, prereqs can only be taken once? (and no retakes)
