Guys hows everyone doing with their application? im doing this all alone with no connection or anyone i can ask for advise regarding my application so its been a real struggle (please dont use this to advertise and say youll look into my application for a fee, i do not have extra money to be scammed lol)

Anyway i still havent finished researching all the programs (ive literally been curating my own list so its rlly taking so long cus im researching everywhere for the info) then i have no idea which programs ill signal, im so scared about the signalling because a mistake can rlly make or break you from what ive seen, ive still not fnishing filling in the section on the eras application and have no idea what to put, which things to highlight etc. I still havent finished my PS. Currently doing a full time residency program in the mean time in my country so rlly busy and trying to balance all of that with the us residency applciation. Do you guys think i still have time to get it all done?

I plan to pay for the usmle scores to be releeased begining of september, thats enough time right?

Hey guys. Advise please. For the past two years I’ve been having constant left sided and right sided upper stomach pain. Had an US of my gallbladder which was normal. Tested for hpylori last year which was positive and so I got antibiotics treatment. However the pain has persisted. I thought I had a stomach and duodenal ulcer and gastritis because my symptoms fit but shockingly my endoscopy was normal. So now I’m left with constant upper left and right sided abdominal pain and sometimes in the middle and don’t know what causing it. I only use maintanance dose of Wegovy now. Like 0.5-1mg once a month or even less sometimes. I rlly don’t know what’s causing my pain. It hurts when I eat and when I don’t eat. It’s like a stabbing pain on and off. Has anyone ever experienced this and what was ur diagnosis please

Why agree to write a LOR then completely ghost someone???? I was so happy because in I managed to get 4 attendings to agree to providing LOR. We are now in August and two have ghosted me. This is so frustrating. They were so eager to write LOR and said great things about me just for them to ghost me. The crazy part is, the two that have ghosted me, they asked me to write a draft which I did. I’ve done the hard part. They literally just need to edit or whatever and upload but they’ve ghosted. It’s just a very wicked thing to do imo. This whole thing is already stressful and I thought I’ve got that out of the way now I need to figure out what to do.

Will my usmle transcipt i request for eras show the step 1 i booked for but never attended? like i paid for it but never booked a date on prometric and my eligibility period expired. it shows in my usmle exam history on fsmb so im wondering if itll also show in the official transcipt i pay for. Guys please help. I just found out about the New York 12 week rule and I’m so confused. My medical school was in Poland and in your final two years, they give you the change to do the last two years of clinicals which is at an hospital in different countries. I got to do mine in a UK hospital. However I was still under my uni etc. Like the rotations, teaching and exams are organised by my uni because they have representatives at the hospital. Does this mean I won’t be eligible for NY residencies? This would be so heartbreaking because I rlly wanted to match in NY 😭😭

Guys my testing centre was so COLD. I couldn’t even concentrate because it was too cold. The people there said they couldn’t turn down the air conditioning. Should I report this? If so how can I report it? Will making an official report even make any difference to my score?

Day 2 MCQ were absolutely AWFUL. Like wtf. The questions I’ve checked have been wrong. A lot of them two of the options felt right 😭😭 Also do you post a lot of points for invasive orders? I accidentally ordered a tube thocacentesis instead of tube thoracotomy in one ccs ffs. Ugh. 😭😭

Guys please I’m randomly worried for some reason. I was seeing peoples exam getting invalidated and getting a fail for suspected cheated for step 1 in the step 1 Reddit. A lot of them were saying they fr never cheated. I saw some people talking about sometimes if you click answers quickly it might flag. During step 3 I clicked some answers quickly because I could guess the answer based on the choices for example the ethics ones or just from reading the last line. I’d click the answer then go back to read to make sure. Will it flag me? 😭😭
