New Reaver?

Does anybody know why Buer Games changed the reaver model? It looks like the old version isn't available anymore, either. The new one isn't bad, but I like the old one a little better.

Few quick Questions on Reaver

So this past Adepticon I made it by Buer Games’ booth and checked out the game, got sold, bought the book plus a small warband. Recently since my work has died down a bit I’ve been getting more free time so I decided to finally put my band together and touch up on their rules. Got the brute, the beekeeper and then the most recent model, the reaver.

Now, I was told the rules and profiles for the game can be found on their site. All right, I’m always down for that. Went to check and got most of them, with I think a few new ones like knight and executioner, but not reaver. Just wondering if the rules are anywhere that I can check on his profile.

Also, the overall model seems to have changed in the last few months ‘cause the one I got has more of a helmet while the one they seem to sell is more hooded. Just wondering if this is an alternative option or something happened in the design process.

Downscale

Anyone ever miniaturized this? Like halved the size and the minis/scale to make it more portable. Obviously easy conversions, I’m just curious what it looked like if ya did.

First 1490 Doom mini & a question about scale

Pretty sure everyone does this lovely dude as there first but I'm very pleased.

I have a question about scale too. I assumed based on the earlier minis it was 28-32mm scale standard wargames fair.

I have seen however the previews of the up coming new box they look closer to bigger 40mm + I'll be buying stls to print so scale isn't an issue and I'm fine with painting this one again I am just wondering if it's worth getting onto the larger scale now before I start my journey proper.

1490 Doom board (newbie)

Novice terrain builder here. This board is for a game called 1490 Doom and my loose premise is that when the Creeping Death, (miasma that kills everything and is slowly rising in elevation) first arrived the people of this monastery village first panicked and then burned the town. The survivors then scavenged the ruined buildings to hastily construct two towers to escape the Creeping Death. Ive made many mistakes and have learned alot on the way but im looking for some constructive criticism on how I can breath some more life into this build. I can provide more pictures too if that helps. I would like to add more color variation without losing my intent or a grim feel. I recently went through with a super light grey dry brush on the ground and some of the stucco on the buildings to try to establish some highlights before I apply more color. All the structures are removable, for ease of transport and somewhat modular, as long as I replace it with a structure that has the same footprint. I also am printing/printed alot of scatter terrain and little details, weapons, broken bottles, bones...alot of bones. :) Im trying my hand at scratch building some minor structures and scaffolding too. My plan is to use moveable ladders to add variation and dynamic access to different areas of the board. Idk, any pointers or tips would be greatly appreciated. I BESEECH THEE MASTERS OF XPS AND PVA! Find favor with this lowly peon.

Hey can I ask a quick rules question? Do abilities like Fear of God and Dirty Dagger cost an action?

Many abilities specify that they cost an action to be used, so if an ability doesn't say that, does it still cost an action. For example, could a Warrior Priest attack, use Fear of God, then move?
