Maybe it’s just me, but I feel like there’s a noticeable difference between those of us born before at least 04’ and those born in 2005–06 and after. I genuinely don’t relate to them that much.

Obviously we’re technically the same generation, but I feel like even a couple of years makes a difference when it comes to the things we grew up with, the internet, social media, childhood experiences, music, slang, etc.
and sometimes when I talk to someone born in 2005 or 2006 I’m like… we did NOT grow up the same.

We graduated from highschool and entered university during the pandemic. How did it affect your studies, social life, relationships, etc? I feel like it was specially bad for us 2002 borns.

Personally, it affected me greatly. Didn't succeed in the degree I got into and dropped out and re-entered university 4 years later in 2024. Online classes for 2 years sucked, never made any meaningful relationships, didn't get the traditional university experience.

For me, id say 2000-2004
