List why Caroline is trash

I’m on season 2 again and why is she insufferable every episode? Would you be friends with her irl?

Me first:

  • Lying to boyfriend and Max each of them is the third wheel
  • Forcing 1000 cupcakes last minute because not doing it will “ruin their reputation”

This shows writing is awful

I recently picked up this show cuz I love sitcoms and Ive seen a bunch of clips being posted on instagram/tiktok, and I would stop watching if i wasnt now so invested in the characters lives. I just feel like this show is baseless comedy, every sentence is just one-liners and zingers and the laughing from the audience every single word is so ANNOYING. Im only early in season 4 but it feels like theres been no actual character or storyline progress because everything that happens to the girls just ends up being a funny situation for the episode, theyre always back at square one by the next one. Even Sophie and Olegs relationship drama has just been constantly overdone every episode is just them debating whether or not they should get back together and it never actually has an impact. Plus like every joke is either sexual, about max's bad childhood, or Caroline being a wealthy bitch, and the side and backround characters in general are just very unrealistic. I like sitcoms because it feels like I can get invested in the characters lives and watch them grow and learn is nice, it doesnt feel like I should be invested in Max and Caroline cuz they aren't progressing in the slightest.

caroline’s sudden problem with weed in season 2?

i’m rewatching 2 broke girls, and i’m just thinking about how caroline never had a problem with max smoking weed all of season one, then in that one holiday episode in season two she’s highly against it? is this a mixup from the writers not just an episode thing? it makes me mad when writers switch up characters views like this, why does she care so much in one episode then not ever again? any opinions on this?

Is it evolution or devolution that 2 Broke Girls couldn’t be aired and received well today?

Anyone think “2 Broke Girls was offensive” just misses the point? The edgy jokes are kind of meant to be ironic, like making fun of people that would make that kind of statements in real life. All the characters were designed for such dumb obtuseness, just like Family Guy characters.

Not everything needs to be direct, and I (non-American) thought Americans had enough humor intelligence about that, but seems like it’s becoming not much a thing anymore these days.

TLDR: Everybody be like Han asking “do we?!” at Earl’s comic son Darius

Even if the cupcakes WERE kosher…Hinda was willing to eat one knowing Max might have had the flu?!

I’ve had the flu the past few days, so of course I’ve been watching our show. It JUST hit me that if Max made those cupcakes, she would have been exposing them all- both by being there and of course with the cupcakes themselves, that she made the night before. I understand the cultural significance of it not being kosher. But Hinda should have avoided them just knowing alone Max was sick!! No one should have eaten those cupcakes, I wouldn’t want to knowing the baker had an illness that spreads like wildfire. I just wanted to share this because it made me laugh. I love this episode, although I can’t IMAGINE how filming was with those boys.

Also, Hinda is Bubbe/Bubby, I wasn’t sure how to spell it as I’m not Jewish and Google wasn’t helping. If someone wants to step in I’d love to know how to spell it correctly.

Sophie

I dont know if this is just me but I get SO annoyed everytime sophie enters the diner or scene and everyone starts wooing and cheering. I find Sophie kind of annoying but sometimes she good.
The first few times was okay and like ok yes she’s iconic but every single time she enters the damn scene they start hooting and hollering. Sophie is just unlikeable (imo) and over hyped by the cheering in the show
