2.5” vs 3” Intakes for NA

I’m open hearing anyone’s feed back and experience on the two. After a tune, has anyone felt the difference between the two piping sizes?? I am working on putting together a responsive and linear NA set up. I have 3” piping currently with my TT set up, but am on the fence about keeping them vs dropping down to 2.5”. I know for NA 2.5” flows faster and I have been told 3” is overkill for NA plus can be less “snappy”. I am NOT going for peak numbers, my priority is mid range as it will be a track focused car after the new engine goes in. I’d like to keep my current 3” piping and just modify it to save some money but don’t want to sacrifice feeling/performance.

Key light been on for over two years

I know i should pull out the steering lock sensor, but im just paranoid about the deadbolt failing due to old age, and springing in to lock the steering wheel when i hit a pothole or smth. Can that shit happen? Should i just remove the entire box and put in an emulator?

Project update

Ahh, it’s been three weeks now and she’s still getting work done at the body shop. Unfortunately there were some delays, especially with color matching all three Nismo paint colors.

My favorite mod is finally on, the V1 wing. The sport touring wing was broken off during removal because of how strong it was adhered to the car. Side skirts were restored and are on.

Front bumper is ready, but turns out my front end frame is misaligned (salvaged title from front end collision). So now it’s going up on the frame machine to give it a chiropractor adjustment. 🦴

Trying to find the previous owner of my Deep Blue Pearl 2020 370Z Sport - VIN JN1AZ4EH1LM820992

Hey everyone. Long shot, but Reddit has surprised me before.

I bought this car through Copart auction(lot in Graham, WA) and imported it - it's now living its best life abroad. The car runs great, I've been driving it for about a year with zero issues after replacing a few bent rear suspension components from the accident.

Here's what I know from CARFAX/NMVTIS:

- 2020 370Z Sport, Deep Blue Pearl, manual, ~21,000 miles

- Originally delivered to Royal Oak Nissan, Calgary, AB in May 2019

- 1st owner based in Washington state, kept it ~5 years

- Sold at Seattle Finest Motors(Lynnwood, WA) in December 2024 for $31,000

- 2nd owner bought it there - and unfortunately totaled it just 2 months later in February 2025(rear-end collision + undercarriage damage).

- Ended up at Copart Graham, WA - that's where I got it

I'm not here to cause drama - the car is repaired and doing well. I'm just genuinely curious about its story. With only ~21k miles in 5 years it was clearly babied by the first owner, and I'd love to know:

- Any mods before the accident?(bone stock when I got it)

- Any quirks or things to watch for on this specific car?

- What happened in February?

If you're the previous owner, or know them, feel free to DM me. Appreciate any leads!

CSC problems and Dark clutch fluid

Hey guys Just hit 115k miles on my 6MT, so decided to take it to Soho Motorsports for a transmission fluid change and inspection. My clutch fluid turned out to be very dark, they advised me to not drain and fill it. As that could cause complete failure. So im just looking for some input, i have read that some people drain and fill the fluid and upgrade the clutch hose to rid the gunk in the line. Also occasionally it has been a little extra hard to get into first in traffic and im experiencing some slight click in my shiftts sometimes. Thanks!

What do you think of this Z and the price

Been shopping around for something fun to drive but not crazy expensive. I've always loved Z's but every one I see on marketplace looks like shit. What do you guys think of this one

Wrapped DRLs

I have purchased a few different vinyl headlight films in the past but so far this is my favorite for the DRLs and fairly easy to work with. I am absolutely not a professional vinyl installer by any means. I have another small roll of a more orange vinyl coming in hopes to give it a tip of the hat to 350z styling.

But here are a few unedited day and night photos of the "gloss orange" vinyl with a link to where I purchased it.

(BTW this is not sponsored in any way, and I've had absolutely zero affiliation or communication with the manufacturer or seller.)

Would you buy this 2018 Nissan 370Z (33k km, automatic, 3 owners) for €33k?

I inspected a 2019 370Z recently and loved it, but someone bought it before me.

Now I found another one:

  • 2018 Nissan 370Z
  • 33,700 km
  • Automatic
  • 3 owners
  • Full Nissan service history
  • Last service at 33k km (April 2025)
  • Clean interior/exterior from what I can see
  • Price: €32,999

Seller says the car has been maintained properly and looks original.

Main concerns:

  • Is 3 owners too many for only 33k km?
  • Is €33k reasonable for Europe in 2026?
  • Any known automatic gearbox issues?
  • Would you buy this over a 987 Boxster?

Thanks 🙏

Front lip?

Recently got a 326 wing put on and I’m loving the look but it looks like it’s missing a front lip. Anyone know of a decent front lip? All i’ve found is the twinz design type 1 and 2 lips in the second pic.

Is this 2016 370Z Touring Roadster rebuilt title worth $15k? How bad does the original damage look?

2016 Nissan 370Z Touring Roadster, automatic, 51k miles, rebuilt title. Seller wants around $15k.

Found the original auction pics attached. Damage seems mainly front left, but airbags deployed. Car has already been repaired and looks clean now.

Does this damage look bad enough to worry about frame/suspension issues? If it passes a Nissan PPI/alignment inspection, would you consider it worth $15k?
