Mil spec flares for the masses?

WCMG always crosses their T’s and dots their I’s by a wide margin so them listing these confirms are fine and not FEL regulated (as we thought).

Seems like flares might be in the menu soon. Hopefully they’ll chime in with details. The price is very nice compared to what surplus ones have gone for in the past.

Picked up a couple of the cannon rounds. 209 machined Alum.

These things are heavy duty! Just be careful popping the 209 primer out. One was stuck so bad I had to drill it out. Primer pocket was fine though. I have the appropriate sized bits. Not sure what I will load in these. May be good for an improv fireworks round.

Would this fit a M79 or m203?

Looks like it’s meant to clamp onto a Milkor launcher barrel. Idk what the outer diameter of a Milkor is but if it’s the same as a m203 it might be useful.

Best place for 40mm Files?

Edit: Just realized opera has issues with odysee. Leaving this post up in case it helps others, But with a different broswer, I had no issues downloading any files.

Looking to start doing some testing and dev work at my range. Would like to see what the costs would be of printing, and possibly vacuum forming nosecones to be able to offer lower costs per round to everyone. I have found files here and there, but a lot of the files on odysee cant be downloaded anymore. Would there be a one stop shop for all files that I am missing? Reached out to a few members here as well as talked to them in person at the recent big bore blast, with no luck so far.

One of us needs some help

Dugan Ashley (Carnikon) was recently arrested for energetic material charges he is objectively not guilty of. “Teaching how to make explosives” it’s only a crime if it’s intended to be used in a crime which it wasn’t, “making explosives without a license” only need a license for commercial use not individual (that’s why you don’t need a license to mix tannerite), and “possession of a DD” idk exactly what item they’re claiming is a DD, but energetic materials by themselves are not DDs and considering how nonsensical the other charges are I can’t imagine it was an actual DD.

Not much different from arresting an elementary school teacher for making a baking soda volcano.

There’s a link to a givesendgo in the comments for his legal defense.

Some more collectables I recently acquired.

Im not sure if I still have a 37mm launcher. Or at least one suitable for these.

3rd revision of my 40mm sight mount

Back again! Completely reworked the latching mechanism from my previous design. Its no longer click adjustable, but uses a hardened steel pin on a plunger to slot into the side arms. It's now super solid and honesty probably overbuilt.

Im still working on a few things such as figuring out the angle and range relationship of 3d printed 40mm rounds. Next version will only have slots for 50yards out to 250 yards with 50 yard increments which should reduce the overall height of the mount. After that is finding somewhere to finish the laser cut parts and get them color black so its not such an eye sore. I might look into having the base and rail machined, but that's not a super high priority.

M183a1 Questions

So I’ve been seeing these “nipple rounds” with something called a point detonating device in them. I believe the technician designation is M183a1. So my question is, what are they and what is the legality around them? Do I need an FEL to own, buy, or shoot them, and do they have special requirements like when loading blanks into 40mm cases? Thank you everyone as always.

Cannon fuse for delay

Has anyone ever used a canon fuse for delays? Does it ignite reliably. My idea is to use heat shrink to avoid premature ignition. And coat the ignition end with a slurry of gunpowder dissolved in Acetone. Once the Acetone is evaporated you get this super easy to ignite end piece.

So I did a Thing…

And I made my childhood dream come true! I have always been enamored with the B&T GL-06 ever since I saw the airsoft version. I was never able to get one since my airsoft budget was extremely limited back then but I’ll settle for the real deal now. Hope you all enjoy!

Still 40mm, but not for launcher

I found about 16 of these on the same spot, and I don't know if I'm stepping on a former ammunition dump.

I'm looking at buying aluminum powder for loose change projos and PD's. Does the type of aluminum powder matter?

Howdy. Printing Loose change and some of the bengle PD's. Intending on doing a 70:30 mix of pyrodex and aluminum powder, but as I look to buy powder it looks like there are a few different types. How particular is it that one be obtained over another?

Was going to buy a few pounds of this dark aluminum but also see that they sell a few different types of aluminum powders.

Any suggestions?
